Nyx's I Love Lucy of Hillsborough
Katia and Davi Tarraga, Hillsborough Bullmastiffs, the breeders of Nyx, asked if we had a red female show quality puppy in our Nyx/Lacey litter, for them. Kae and I were overjoyed to be asked and we worked out a co-ownership agreement for Lucy. Katia and Davi owned Nyx's sire and Dam and Lacey is related to one of their foundation bitches. Lucy's blood runs rich with the lines of Hillsborough Bullmastiffs!
Lucy has been groomed to show and had a sort of "Coming Out" magazine advertisement in South America, before she started showing.

Lucy started her show career off in Brazil at 8 months old. In South America, dogs under 12 months show separately from adult dogs (over 12 months).

In 2009 Katia brought Lucy up to North Carolina from Brazil for her to be bred. Lucy is 24 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds. Lucy has a natural fluid movement and gaits like a dream. She is a natural show dog with a very UP personality. Lucy has a rich red coat and beautiful cat feet. Lucy loves going to Hardees for a sausage biscuit. She lives to be petted by everybody, especially kids.

We are grateful to have Lucy living with and shown by Katia and Davi, But we are also glad they are sharing Lucy with us for a while!

3 Months later Lucy earns 4th place in the open class at the 2010 Nationals!!!
We are so proud to have bred this beautiful loving girl. She heard me talking in the hallway at the host hotel at Nationals and started crying in her room. Katia and Davi took me in to see her and she was all over me and licked my happy tears all away. I miss having Lucy here at her birth home, and appreciate Katia and Davi sharing Lucy with us. We kept a female pup, "Honey"
