Nyx's Blaze of Glory CGC
Above at 9 months, 25 inches and 115 pounds, at her first AKC AB show, earning her first points as, Winners Bitch, Best of Opposite Sex, Best Bullmastiff Puppy, Working group 1 Puppy !

Blaze is our keeper puppy from our first Bullmastiff litter. Blaze has an incredible bite: Wide under jaw, large teeth and level bite.
At 6 m0nths Blaze thought she was "Grown Up" and old enough to drive the golf cart. While I left her and Lacey on the cart , Blaze tried taking her mom for a ride!
Lacey pretended to sleep through the entire event so as not to share the blame. We packed Blaze's bags (Tuesday evenings) and sent her off to obedience lessons.
Blaze Graduated obedience at 8 months and has not tried driving since!
Blaze also took the AKC Canine Good Citizens (CGC) test at 8 months and
passed with a perfect score!
The same week, Blaze tried her hand in the conformation ring at the large B Match at the Carolina Cluster in Greensboro. She won Best of Breed for Bullmastiffs under 12 months and went on to a Working Group 3 ! It was just a B Match, but it was a thrill because it was her first time in a ring and Bill handled her.
We are pleased with the way Blaze is filling out and maturing. Blaze is 25 inches at the shoulders and has a tremendous chest, head and neck. Enough muscle to run down deer and catch them if they run up a steep hill. They run much faster than her down hill but she caught and brought down 2 deer and a turkey last fall.

Blaze is 3 years old now and is a full grown girl. The day we were inseminating Blaze, I took the pictures below and weighed her. Blaze weighed in at 133.5 pounds and the vet was shocked to find no fat inside Blaze as she usually finds plenty of fat in Bullmastiff bitches.
Blaze has a 28 inch circumference head and neck the same. She is heavy boned and muscled and often is mistaken for a male. Showing her was much easier when she was less than a year and looked more like the other bullmastiff bitches. I took Blaze to a show at 17 months and the judge looked underneath Blaze and told me she was checking to see if we were in the right class? When people see Blaze, they usually stop in their tracks, (before she runs up and licks them) Blaze is one of the most gentle and loving dogs I have ever been around. She loves to take it easy and spend plenty of time on the couch.
