About Nyx Bullmastiffs

In Greek mythology Nyx was one of the Primeval gods - the ancient personification of night. 

We are Bill & Kae Arrington of Green Mountain, North Carolina.  We have four Bullmastiffs that live in our home and are our companions. As you can see we like big boned, wide chested, typey brindles.

Green Mountain is north of Burnsville, North Carolina , about an hour northeast of Asheville near the Tennessee border. We are located on a 140 acre farm on Brummetts Creek.

Our dogs enjoy 100+ acres without fences and traffic. We have lawn, pastures, woods and a couple freshwater ponds for cooling off.

We think life is too short to take life and ourselves too seriously.

We like our dogs to be part of our family . 

We take our dogs with us for work and play. People are constantly asking about them. We have people at shows and breeders inquiring.  We decided to try our hand at developing a web site. We didn't set out to compete in conformation shows.  We have had large dogs and guard dogs for over 30 years and never considered showing. Our dogs have been for work and for companions.  In our search for the bullmastiffs we liked, we found the breeders to be very serious about showing.  We went to our first dog show to see what it was about, came  home, did a little training with the dogs and jumped in feet first. We have had fun with showing, met some great "Bullmastiff People", and showed Nyx and Lacey to their championships.   Crazy we may be, but we are hooked on Bullmastiffs.
